Pure copper Coil/Strip, also known as electrolytic copper tape, consists mainly of pure copper, with a purity generally above 99.9%. The distinguishing feature of copper tape is its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, which is attributed to the physical properties of pure copper. Pure copper is chemically stable, and is relatively stable under other conditions, except in wet environments where it will gradually oxidise to a green patina.

Pure copper strip is mainly used in the electrical and electronic industry, such as making cables, electromagnetic wires, conductive parts of motors and transformers.
